Turn off Wi-Fi Assist if your iPhone is eating up data after iOS 9 upgrade

If you are seeing an increased usage of data after you phone has been upgraded to iOS 9, then you might want to turn off a feature called Wi-Fi Assist in settings.

Here is how to turn off Wi-Fi Assist

Go to Settings > Cellular > scroll all the way down > Wi-Fi assist > Swipe the green button to left to turn it off

Fix: iPhone with iOS 9.0 not recognized in iTunes 12.3

If you have Windows 8, follow the steps:

  1. Close iTunes
  2. Make sure the iPhone is connected to your PC.
  3. Go to device manager or type 'device manager' in Search Windows search field, select Device Manger from Settings
  4. From the list, expand Portable Devices
  5. Right click on Apple iPhone
  6. Click Update Driver Software
  7. Click Browse my computer for driver software
  8. Click Browse
  9. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
  10. Click Next
  11. Now windows will update the driver software.
  12. Start iTunes and you will see the icon for your device.
